Volunteer With Us
Whether you come as an individual, small group, or church team, there are many ways to serve at Misión Peniel — from food distribution to tutoring, gardening, and more. Volunteers are essential to everything we do, and most come from churches and community groups throughout Southwest Florida, contributing over 4,000 hours of service each year.
Fridays at the Mission
Each Friday, Misión Peniel welcomes volunteers to help with food and essentials distribution. We typically host one group in the morning and another in the afternoon, with shifts supporting packing, organizing, and sharing food with 350–400 households.

Morning Shift: 11:00-1:00
Afternoon Shift: 2:00-6:30
​
Volunteer teams usually consist of 8-12 people

​​Music Academy – Saturday Mornings
We’re looking for volunteer instructors to help teach piano and guitar as we grow this exciting outreach.

Mission Garden – Tuesdays & Thursdays (Morning or Afternoon)
Join us in the garden as we grow culturally meaningful food for the community. Volunteers are welcome to help with planting, harvesting, and caring for the space.

If you’d like to volunteer on your own or with a group at a different time, please message us with your contact information. We ask that all volunteers reach out in advance before making the trip to Immokalee, as there are times when staff are not onsite—and we wouldn’t want to miss you!
