Good news! We are once again signing up church and other small groups for Friday serving! Through September, we will be accepting groups
Beginning in January, 2022, the mission will accept groups of six to assist with food distribution on Fridays from 2 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. All who volunteer must be fully vaccinated. At this time we will also require volunteers to wear face masks. This is because we will still be requiring all community members to wear masks as they step onto the mission campus. Our wearing masks is a show of our unified efforts to create the safest possible environment throughout the food distribution.
These policies will be reviewed at the beginning of each month. We will communicate any changes to those scheduled to volunteer. We thank you for your understanding and support of our desire to stand in solidarity with the community.

UPDATED NEEDS LIST!!!
Throughout the pandemic we have suspended all distribution except for fresh produce and non perishable food items as well as diapers and personal hygiene items. As we look to re-introduce once distributed items, we have new guidelines in place for clothing donations. We are still not accepting towels, bedding, children's clothing, toys or other household items at this time.
As we look to re-introduce clothing to our distribution (no date set), if your church or group is willing to wash, pre-sort and label individual bags of clothing to bring on your distribution day, we may be able to accept them. These pre-washed/pre-sorted for individual bags must be brought ready to distribute to individuals as follows:
1. Each individual bag to contain 3 tops and three bottoms of the same size in one bag and labeled men or women.
2. All of the pre-sorted and bagged clothing items must come grouped together by gender and size. Larger bags will have all of the men's individually bagged Smalls, Med, Large, XL together.
Please note: If items are not pre-sorted into individually labeled bags of same size and gender, we will not be able to accept them. Also, in the pre-sorting we ask that you dispose of stained, torn, buttons missing, etc. We want to distribute clothing that affirms the dignity of those whom we are serving.
These are the following food items we are accepting at this time:
--FOOD: Fresh garden produce, rice, beans, peanut butter, canned meats/chicken, canned fruit and vegetables, pasta, spaghetti sauce, dry cereal, oatmeal.
--PERSONAL CARE: Diapers size 3,4,5,6, baby wipes, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush/paste, disposable razors.
If you have a delivery of these items, please contact us by phone, text or email ahead of time as our schedule on site has limited hours. We cannot accept donations on Fridays unless your group is serving that day. Thank you for understanding.
CURRENT MID WEEK VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: We look forward to welcoming volunteers for a variety of mid week opportunities to help when it is safe to do so. Currently, the only mid week volunteer opportunity is for helping in the mission garden on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Please message us with your contact information if you'd like to come by yourself or with others at a time convenient to you. We ask that you contact us before making the trip to Immokalee. There are times we are NOT at the mission and we would hate to miss you!
