MINISTRY IN OUR COMMUNITY...

In November of 2016 Pastor Miguel sent out a request to see if anyone on the team knew of a motorized wheelchair that might be available to Alicia to aid her in her life. She was unable to walk and the hand powered wheelchair she owned was beginning to show wear. In February 2017 a wheelchair became available through First Presbyterian Church of Bonita Springs' thrift shop as a donation to Alicia. Pastor Miguel delivered it to Alicia as a surprise gift. As you can imagine, Alicia and her mother were overcome with emotion! The wheelchair gives Alicia the freedom to leave the confinement of her room and opens new opportunities for her life ahead. We are thankful for this wonderful gift and for all those who helped make it possible!
